Pricing & Quotes

How much does tech support cost?

Remote or in-person hourly support starts at $60–$90/hr. Setup jobs (new computer, account, or device setup) start at $99, with the final price depending on complexity. Website and business package pricing is quoted after a quick conversation about scope. See the full pricing breakdown.

Will I know the price before work begins?

Yes. You'll get a clear starting estimate after describing the issue, and a final quote before any paid work begins. No surprise bills.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, check, Zelle, and Venmo are accepted.

Scheduling & Support Type

Do you offer remote support, or only in-person visits?

Both. Software questions, account setup, website edits, email, and general troubleshooting can often be handled remotely. New computers, printers, Wi-Fi, and other hardware setups usually work best in person.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Send a request through the contact form or email admin@waltercomputerhelp.com with your device, issue, and preferred timing. Support is by appointment, with after-hours options for businesses when available. You can also book a time directly from the contact page.

How soon can you help?

It depends on current appointments, but same-day help is sometimes available. Let me know your timing when you send a request and I'll confirm the soonest realistic option.

Service Area & General

What areas do you serve?

Homes and small businesses from Hopewell Junction to Valhalla, covering parts of Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester County. Remote support may be available outside this area for software, account, and website questions.

Do you work with small businesses, not just homes?

Yes. Offices, restaurants, gas stations, studios, salons, and other local businesses are all welcome, including ongoing monthly support packages.

I'm not very comfortable with technology. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Explanations are kept in plain language, without confusing tech jargon, and the goal on every visit is a setup that is easier for you to use afterward.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes. Refer a friend or neighbor and you'll both get 10% off your next hourly service visit. Just mention it when you or they reach out.
